I love to travel, and so am happy to accept most offers to speak or teach or exhibit abroad. This gives me fantastic opportunities to be inspired. I love the colours that various parts of the world offer and some places, of course, have special memories and so that is what I like to capture. My husband recently 'trimmed' the hedge around our garden, revealing the wonderful view you can see in 'Four Leafed Clover'. I was so struck by the light, as it passes over the field throughout the day, that I know it is a view I need to paint many, many times.
